Brewers' 2025 Award Contenders: Who's Got the Best Shot?

As we gear up for the 2025 MLB season, the Milwaukee Brewers find themselves in an intriguing position regarding potential award candidates. With names like William Contreras and Jackson Chourio emerging as MVP contenders, the question arises: can they elevate their game to truly compete for the top honors in the National League?

Contreras has shown consistent improvement, finishing 11th in the MVP race in 2023 and climbing to 5th in 2024. But can he break into the top three this year? Chourio, on the other hand, is a rising star with a third-place finish in 2024. Is he ready to take the leap and become the face of the franchise?

On the pitching side, the Cy Young race seems less promising for the Brewers. With Freddy Peralta's inconsistency and Brandon Woodruff's injury concerns, who do you think could step up as a dark horse candidate? Is there a chance for a surprise breakout performance from someone like Tobias Myers or Nestor Cortes?

The Rookie of the Year race appears to be wide open, but the Brewers lack a clear frontrunner. Could we see an unexpected player rise from the minors to claim the title? History has shown us that rookies can come out of nowhere—who are you keeping an eye on?

And let's not forget about the Comeback Player of the Year. With Christian Yelich and Brandon Woodruff both looking to bounce back from injuries, who do you think has the best shot at reclaiming their former glory?

Lastly, while awards for executives and managers are often overlooked, the Brewers' recent successes in these areas raise an interesting point. Can Matt Arnold and Pat Murphy defy the odds and repeat their accolades, or is it too rare for back-to-back wins in these categories?

Join the conversation! What are your bold predictions for the Brewers' award candidates in 2025? Who do you think will surprise us this season? Let's hear your thoughts!
