As we dive deeper into the offseason, the buzz around top prospects is heating up, and I can't help but wonder: which of these young guns will make the biggest impact in 2025?

Take Chase DeLauter for instance. At 6'4" and 235 lbs, he has the physical tools to be a middle-order force, but can he stay healthy long enough to realize that potential? With only 39 games played last season, is he a buy-low candidate for dynasty leagues, or should we be cautious given his injury history?

Then there's Jett Williams, who has shown flashes of brilliance despite a wrist injury sidelining him for most of the year. His .533 OBP in a small sample size is tantalizing, but can he translate that into a full season? Is he the next Corbin Carroll, or are we getting ahead of ourselves?

Lazaro Montes is another name that stands out. With a swing reminiscent of Yordan Alvarez and impressive minor league numbers, could he be the breakout star of the Mariners' system? Or is he just another prospect who will struggle to adjust to the big leagues?

And what about the Rays' Carson Williams? With his double-plus defense and consistent offensive output, is he the future at shortstop for Tampa Bay? Or will he be overshadowed by other rising stars in the organization?

Lastly, let’s not forget about Marcelo Mayer. After a bounce-back season, can he finally stay healthy and fulfill the promise of being a top-tier prospect?

I want to hear your thoughts! Which prospects are you most excited about for 2025? Do you think any of these players will exceed expectations, or are there others flying under the radar that we should keep an eye on? Let’s get the conversation rolling!
