Is a healthy, full-season Jacob deGrom enough to push the Rangers over the top? His teammates seem to think a healthy deGrom is the best pitcher in baseball, perhaps even in history. Bold statements indeed. But can he stay healthy? He hasn’t pitched a full season since 2019. Can he defy the odds and recapture his Cy Young form at 36 years old coming off Tommy John surgery? What are the Rangers doing to manage his workload and keep him on the mound? I’m predicting a Cy Young caliber season if he can stay healthy. What do you think? Is he the missing piece for the Rangers? Is he worth the risk? Let the debate begin.
